WHAT IS RUBBER WETPOUR?
A Rubber Wetpour system is a porous, durable, poured-in-place surface, developed for various applications to give maximum safety and play value. Harnessing the latest technology, rubber wetpour consists of rubber granules or shred bound with a polyurethane resin to form a continuous, seamless surface. Because the product is wet poured in situ, it can be easily installed around difficult area's such as existing playground equipment, tree roots and pathways etc. This product does not need a flat surface for installation, it may follow the natural gradient of the land.
WHAT RUBBER WETPOUR SYSTEMS ARE AVAILABLE?
There are two main rubber wetpour systems, a wear layer system, commonly used for walkways, pool surrounds and general use area's etc, or a Softfall or Safety Surface system, used when a safe free fall of height is required. The Softfall or Safety system requires an impact absorbing base layer of rubber beneath the top wear layer of rubber. The thickness of the base layer rubber is determined by the safe free fall of height required. Our Safety Surfacing Systems have been independently tested by 'N.A.T.A. Accredited Laboratories' to be compliant to the Australian Standard AS4422:1996. All of surfaces are installed by experienced trained staff who adhere to our strict guidelines and procedures.
